So today (09/05/20) I was meant to be running my 1st ever Ultra Marathon, the following Saturday I was supposed to run my 1st ever Military Tab, later in the month my first Sand Run in Margate, in June my 1st Vertical Mile Tower Run - basically I had a lot planned this year all of which has been rescheduled or cancelled due to the current situation. Make no mistake they may not happen on the day they were due to happen but in some capacity they will happen, maybe not this year but they will happen. I also have my 1st adventure race to re-
book I was supposed to do last year however was injured. Overall I have a lot to look forward to.
In essence I have a lot of goals. I am an ambitious person and so once I achieve one goal I tend to make another one not long afterwards, usually fitness related. With the current situation with Coronavirus however my goals have shifted to be more business orientated ones. My goals were simple and as follows:
· Start doing Personal Training online and offer the best service possible with it
· Update our website and update our company name
· Keep in consistent contact with everyone wherever they are a friend, client, old client, lots of people are scared and need someone to talk to. Being a personal trainer is far more than just telling people to Squat
· Write at least 2 blogs a week
· Keep my social media accounts upto date with positive messages
· Expand my knowledge as a personal trainer
· Get better at using technology
Is has also made me think about other fitness goals and events for the future which I have always taken for granted will always be an option. So other future events I would like to do at some point are as follows:
· Trek the 3 peaks
· Run a major Marathon (London or Athens)
· Race the Train (Race against a steam train in Wales over 14 Miles)
· Walk along the beaches of Normandy
· Walk along Hadrian’s Wall
There are plenty of more I am sure and that’s the cool thing about always setting goals, there is always something to look forward to so use this time wisely, we are coming out the other side of Coronavirus, set yourself some goals and go and achieve them.
