Why we are called Hybrid One Fitness

Welcome to our first blog on our new website Hybrid One Fitness. We thought our first blog should be about why we decided on this name and what we believe it stands for
Hybrid is ‘Something that is the product of mixing two or more different things’
So in terms of health and fitness this will be a combination of things; physically and mentally strong, fit, flexible, mobile, ambitious, competitive, driven to succeed and plenty more but you get the point.
It’s not just about the physical aspect, we believe our mental health is just as important, being physically active is great way to stay healthy in terms of not just our body but also our mental health.
For our clients we want to improve all of the above aspects and we take each as serious as the other. Everyone has their own strengths and weakness of course but if we can make someone a better all-round individual then that for us is better than being really strong physically but mentally very weak and of course vice versa.
How we train not just ourselves but also our clients will always be based on creating a hybrid person. Now if you want to be a better runner for example then of course running is important but if you combined running with strength work, mobility work, mind-set work then that will make you a far better runner. It would do this by helping you increase your overall speed, reduce your injury risk and believe in yourself a lot more. If you are reading this then you must want to better yourself and why would you only want to be good at one thing when you can be good at a lot of things
In summary, to be a true hybrid of fitness you should focus on all aspects of fitness and that is our core belief in what our company name stands for
